Sophia Bush: Looking Good is the Best Revenge

October 15, 2008

Actress Keeps It Fresh and Classic On and Off Screen

One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush’s most memorable role to-date might be her cameo as Mrs. Chad Michael Murray. Truly, her classy performance following the end of her blink-and-you’ll-miss-it marriage to her OTH co-star, while continuing to work alongside him on their CW show (awkward), was Oscar-worthy. Instead of unleashing the wrath of a woman scorned a la Alanis Morissette, Bush found a better way to stick it to CMM: looking impeccably turned out at every red carpet event for photographers to snap what he’s been missing. The rising movie star kept flashbulbs busy in the front rows of New York’s most-exclusive fall fashion shows. Bush was sexy and leggy in BCBG, yet somehow managed to still maintain a girl next door innocence in a drop-dead red dress from Herve Leger paired with old Hollywood glamour style peep toes. The outfit does her body good and it looks great with minimal accessories. Sometimes heels are all the icing you need. ShoeMinx can’t help but think that Get Smart actress Anne Hathaway, who is working through some “gonna wash that man outta my hair” drama of her own, would look like the $21 million dollars her incarcerated ex needs to post bail in a similar look. Bush closed out the fashion marathon at Marc Jacobs in a trench coat style dress that Bush takes from just OK to outstanding with the addition of a pair of orange sandals that give the whole outfit a youthful edge. Take that, Chad. And to make the smack down sting even more, Bush has two films in the can to walk the red carpet for next year; as for her ex . . . *crickets* So ladies, follow the stars’ example for dealing with a difficult break-up: don’t get mad, get gorgeous. Put down the Hagan Daaz, schedule a pedicure and step out in your best “watch me walking away” heels. Go for Sophia’s sexy and sophisticated look in these Charles David peep toes. Hello, boys. These colorful Guess Kersty strappy heels will definitely draw attention to your legs, and give them a longer line under the season’s short skirts and dresses.
