The envelope please . . . And the Emmy for “Best Shoe Placement on the Red Carpet” goes to Jimmy Choo! Anticipation was high for TV’s night of nights.  Who would take home the golden hardware for the best broadcast has to offer? But before the telecast, there was only question on everyone’s lips:  “Who are you wearing?”

Christina Hendricks did her Mad Men va-va-vixen character justice in an utterly divine emerald green Marilyn Monroe-esque gown that complemented her alabaster skin and red hair. Accessorized with Grecian style Jimmy Choo heels, she was the very definition of “goddess glam.”  With those curves, the overall effect was like a sewn-up stun gun in killer heels. If the show’s big win for best drama isn’t enough to entice you to tune in, the clothes alone make it “Must See TV.”

But a designer gown without the right accessories is just a pretty dress.  Christian Louboutin’s signature red sole may have become practically synonymous with A-list Hollywood events, but it was Jimmy Choo who ruled the red carpet as the “Prince of the Primetime Pump.”

While many of the small screen sirens seemed to aspire to the same Look Book ideal of retro Veronica Lake glamour and cocktail chic, stiletto queen and Jimmy Choo CEO Tamara Mellon took an Emmy risk, channeling the technicolor pop appeal of Katy Perry crossed with the beach couture sensibility of Kate Hudson.
