Hooker Heels Hit the Runway in Berlin

“Stripper” Pumps Go Mainstream and Steal the Spotlight
Footwear fashion takes inspiration from all avenues of life. Designer Scherer Gonzalez seems to have found his in a strip club. During Mercedes-Benz Berlin Fashion Week, he sent models down the runway in six-inch Lucite heels (less euphemistically known as “hooker heels”) decorated with flowers that looked like remnants from Michael’s arts and crafts store. Even dressed up, clear heels are tacky, not fantastic.
But clear heels do have aficionados in Hollywood, namely “Brooke Knows Best” D-lister Brooke Hogan and the former Mrs. Lorenzo Lamas, Shaun Sands (dubbed the “Empress of Lucite” by Dlisted.com), which pretty much proves our point.
