Slippers

May 26, 2008

We love that some of our favorite shoes never see the light of day. We’re talking about the shearling or lambswool slippers that comfort you at home, when you’re cozied up with your favorite cup of tea. Completely completely decadent and impossibly cozy slippers to salve to tired, 16-hour days feet. Seriously.  We madly covet Land’s End mule slippers and are convinced broken feet feel better when covered in cashmere! Every woman who wears stilettos should have a pair.

The Koolaburra slipper is a classic boot-style ankle slipper made of Merino wool and sheepskin. A snug cut provides a superior fit as the sheepskin naturally stretches and adapts to your feet. Genuine sheep’s wool increases circulation and keeps the feet at a comfortable temperature in cool or warm weather because of its breathability. Cow suede reinforced heel counter preserves heel to better survive daily wear and tear. Removable insoles can be washed or replaced to keep your inner shoe like new.

UGG’s sheepskin flip flop slippers are another huge trend. Features include genuine Australian grade-A sheepskin. The sheepskin and hollow wool inside wick away moisture from your skin, actually keeping your feet cool in warm weather.

For Men? We love Hush Puppies men’s slipper clog with a center made of Hush Puppies Performance Suede. Berber lining ensures warmth and comfort while the rubber sole enables this clog to be worn both indoors and outdoors.
